top end on 2 strokes just dont last. but for the lower cost of the bike, its probably gonna pay off. and if ur 4 stroke engine messes up. you'll be loosin a lot of money tryin to fix that thing. any more questions u got just post away

The price you paid is advg. And you did the right things to it, So i say over all you did okay. And now just keep freash gear oil and air filter in it and you should be good to go and have a great time with it. And as long as your not racing it then a top end is ones a year or 30ish hours. Have fun and dress safe! YZ WOODS.

i have a 1986 Suzuki LT250R 2-stroke, my dad had it before me(and he beat the *** out of it). He bought it new in 86, it runs now, and it has never been rebuilt.
