I was gonna say, Getting a new bike is the best thing ever. I dont care if your a [pro racer, getting on that new bike and calling it yours is the best thing ever.

Congrats! I would have went with the 450 for track use. But if you run that 250 hot and use your cluch right you can whole shot. Just take some time to get the bike set up for YOU. Race sag is a must.
And take your time on the throttle to (FEEL) the power band and where you should be. Great buy. Now just make the bike work for you.

Picking it up at 2 tomorrow.. cant wait! Will get some pics up asap.... I decided on the YZ250 for two reasons - 1. I've always ridden two strokes 2. I cant work on the four stroke myself as I dont have any experience with that type of engine (and dont feel like learning the hard way with my bike. anyways will put the pics up tomorrow when i get back home...

That sounds sweet dude. I was gonna say my dad has a 2007 CRF450r and he really misses his 00'YZ250 but i always get to these topics too late. lol. Anyways I cant wait to c some pics of the new purchase

The CR-450F is a good bike; but the '03 wasn't known as a nimble turner; '04 and later are said to have better handling

The track is in Durban, South Africa.... thats just the enduro/atv track so nothing special on it. I'll get some videos of the main motox track on friday and get them uploaded!
