I am returning to dit bike riding after 10 years. I used to own a KX80 a KX125 then a KDX200. I am bit of a kawasaki fan so will probably stick to that.

I am trying to decide btwn the KX250, the KX250R and the KLX450F. Basically I want a bike to ride to do a bit of enduro riding, farm dirt tracks etc. But will also like to have a play on a motocross track.

Any advise appreciated!

Since you aren't racing competatively, I think you would be best off with the KX250.  The two stroke will be more durable and cheaper to maintain than the 4-strokes, used ones can be had for a bargain, and they make excellent enduro bikes.  You won't have any complaints running farm dirt tracks, and they are great out on the MX track as well.  Nothing seems to polarize people the way the 2-stroke vs 4-stroke thing does, but the simple reality is that you can rebuild one for cheap (in your own garage) and other than feeding them good premix and changing the ring every 40 hours or so, they are pretty bullet proof.  The 4 stroke will require valve adjustments, and still need to have the rings done from time to time.  If they blow, then the repair bill is ridiculous.  The 4-stroke is a pain to start and typically likes to overheat when running slow in the trails... If you were racing competatively, this would be a no brainer - go with the 4T.  But for what you're after, the KX250 - in my opinion - would fit the bill perfectly.
Since when is Dirt blue??!!!
