I bought this bike without test driving it.. mistake. It runs great, but has one problem. When I shift from neutral to first it either jumps into gear or out of gear. It will either bog down and stall or if I skyrocket the RPMs then it will peel out, but i cannot just gently go into first... I rebuilt the top end and put new clutch plates into it. I do not know how to fix it and do not want to take it to the shop. Any advice will be attempted and greatly appreciated.

If you are in netural with clutch lever releaced bike running and everything ok and then you put it in 1st with clutch lever in and if it starts to grab, roll foward or stall your clutch is not right or not ajusted right. If its jumping in and out of gear your rpm's might be to high with the throttle all the way off.
Check this first. And do you have a manual for that bike?
I love this dirt stuff.

What kind of bike is this? Jumoinf in/out of gear us typically a sign that your tranny is going to need to be disassembled however, it could just be an adjustment issue... tell us which bike and we'll try to help.
Since when is Dirt blue??!!!
