We use a air box cover from Twin Air, wash, scrub and rinse out all dirt then blow dry.

you can do that or you can do it the hard way and take it off and wash it out with dawn dish soap in the sink.

Wow woods, you go all out.  I haven't had the weather to ride my 250 yet, but when I do, I have all the wash stuff setting on the rack, next to my oil.  I'm not a big fan of the pressure washer either.  Nothing wrong with a little elbow grease!

I use Purple power after a ride, let it sit a minute or two and then wash with Cherry power. both can be bought at a local autoparts place. but watch the purple power on favorite aluminum as it can discolor or if left too long even pit!!
