I always use simple green and wd-40. Pam works wonders keeping mud off. Any advice on getting rimsclean. I ride in okinawa and everything trys to pit and aluminum pits and stains really badly. Whta can i use to get sexy, beautiful rims back?

I use the chrome cleaner polish, then wax them avery now and then with the hard shell wax. mud comes right off. you can see in my (Before you ride guide) thread , how bad my rims looked, then in my Weekend stories pics ,thread you will see there back to brand new looking. With just sope and water due to the wax.

CRF150Rkid:
I didn't mean the actual post on the thread. I meant the when you click on the My Threads link under the Active Posts link. Because my list is starting to get big and you have like 6,000+ post Thought you might know

Not that I know of.  I will ask "the powers" and see what they say (no, not the editors, the web team).

Hey woods, I want a John Madden Play by Play of every detail starting from unloading the bike outta the truck! BOOM!  -jk- Good tips, I agree with teaching the younger generation taking care of things and responsibility. Just from this post I'm gonna start doing things a tad bit different. The only thing I'll add is the Wesley's bleach white to make the tires black again. I also have the same problem as Kayden with the inner leather boot marks on my '02 CR frame. It's never totally gone but all I'm using is mother's aluminum polish or neverdull. Damn PITA! (pain in the ass)

Tip...NEVER use anything that says bleach! Use Meguires black . And NEVER hit your knobs or rim with over spray!

Wesleys' is for the tire only. It will damage aluminum and discolor paint. I spray it on a tire scrub brush and just run it along the wall of the tire then rinse immediately.
