450crf wont start

my 2005 crf450 wont start. its been sitting for about a year. new fuel, new plug, checked valve clearances. now I,m stumped

Try draining the carb which you probably already did.If there was any junk in it take it apart and clean it you can also try turning your idle screw down if your idle is set too high when you last rode it's flooding itself and thats it won't start hope this helps.

I'd vote for a gummed up carb too.
BTW - if you ever let a 4-stroke sit that long, make sure to give the kickstarted a kick once every 2 weeks - otherwise, the piston could stick, but worse - whatever valve(s) are compressed will leave the springs sacked out, if left in the same position for a year.
Since when is Dirt blue??!!!

DEFINITELY CHECK THAT CARB SINCE UR BIKE HAS BEEN SITTING FOR SO LONG NOT GETTING STARTED ALL THAT OLD GAS SITS IN THE CARB AND CAN GUM IT ALL UP GOOD LUCK
