I have posted before about my coolant problem. OK heres the problem, Every time i got ot ride my bike i have to fill up on coolant every single time. A month ago i took the head off got it leveled(just in case of warped head) I then got a brand new gasket from Factory Honda parts and put high temp silicon and gasket sealer on it thinkin that somehow the gasket maybe lifted from the water jets. I took the radiators off then flush them out to clean them. 2 days after i let everything settle. It then didnt just por it out like befor now it drizzles but still is coming out of the overflow like mad.I still dont kno what the problem is, ive switched caps also and thats still not the problem. Somehow there is getting a lot of compression pushing the sping up allowing it to flow out. I think there may be a small hairline crack in the jug when it compresses it opens it up allowing coolant out but not big enough to burn it up. LOL sorry for such a long post but can someone please HELP ME ON THIS ONE

Thanks Chris

Do you mean it's coming out of the radiator overflow?

The only way to get it coming out of the radiator overflow is to boil the radiator.  And aside from a faulty cap (you've already switched them) is an engine that's running HOT.

Or is the coolant coming from the cylinder head?  One way to find out is to dye your coolant and look for cracks.

OK.  Let's walk through this.  The engine produces heat and transfers that heat to the water jacket, into the coolant.  The water pump circulates that coolant through the radiator.  The pressure provided by the cap raises the boiling point of the coolant - as does the antifreeze.

If it's coming out of the overflow, then the only options I can see are a faulty cap, running straight water (water boils at a lower temp than 50/50 antifreeze), a crack in the radiator, or boiling it over. Are you certain neither of your radiator hoses is kinked or clogged? And the seal in your cap is good?

Good call,Wanted to make shure its not bieng lost due to a seal leak and running into the trans And not coming out the over flow.
That being said and ruled out. That much coolent has no where to go...So it must be that your pump is not good and the engine is routing it out the over flow.
No way your losing that much coolent and can't find were its going! If you run just water your engine will over heat. You have a leak! Find it. If its ALL coming out the over flow then look for a blockeg as Skip said.
But all that coolent has to be going Some where??? Find it.

I dont have a clear idea of what is wrong, is it overheating or just loosing all the coolant? Is the entire radiator getting hot i.e. all the small lines that criss cross and so fortth. If not then your radiators could be plugged up here and there not allowing it to flow properly. When you cleaned them what did you do. Usually to get a radiator clean you have to bring it to a shop that will steam clean them which will get rid of all that crap.

Ok - just so we're COMPLETELY clear.. it sprays out of the overflow. Not the cap, nor anywhere on the radiator - but the ACTUAL overflow tube.  Right?  If so - this HAS to be a boilover situation - if not - then it has to be a hairline crack..  We all want very much to help you, but we're apparently in the same boat you are - the SOS Baffled!

Have you tried swapping coolant caps with a buddies bike?  I really think it has something to do with the cap.  Thaat is the only thing that meters the water out to the overflow tube.
