Nicely put Bill. I asked so long ago on this CRAP thread why they had to be single. Shouldn't make one difference what kind of racer they are single or not. Good old Keny is just trying to give a fair break for the less fortunate single, young, fit women of the world.

Hi Bill I took a look at one of your post on 4/8/8 on the General Discussion forum. You seem to be promoting "Street Racing" on a dirt bike forum. Say it ain't so, Bill. Looks like you stepped in some of that Strawberried flavored stuff! Thanks big time. Keny

Keny - I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for a moment..
We all undertand the concept of 'sponsorship' - you give the ride, you get something in return. OK - help us out here - what's the return in this for you? When Fox or Alpinestars 'sponsors' a rider, they get a valuable name/likeness to market their product with, and can claim that, in some way, their product was resposible for the podium finish. They put in hard dollars, and they expect to get them back.
So, to have some legitimacy, please help us understand you position a little better. I checked out your website - but let's hear it from you. 18-25 Female makes this sound shady - so it's on you to make it sound right....

Hi We have sponsored four men, and they set records, we do not sponsor men any longer. We took one married couple to the event, they spent the entire time fighting, and expected us to pay for their partner. We do not want anyone to come home injured. Young ladies fail down in any sport and jump right back up and say, "Get the bike fixed and ready for me." Young ladies are not as "tied" down by there job and have time to attent the event. We spent the money to get someone trained only to have them not show, waste a lot of time. Thanks Keny

Now I regret having given you the benefit of the doubt, Keny. We don't know you from a hole in the wall - Bill, on the other hand is a straight-up guy! If you think attacking one of our own vets is going to be of any effect - think again. Bill doesn't need us to defend him, but we'll do it anyway... and I'm CERTAIN I speak for many here.

I took the time to look at some of Bill's post.
Bill complainted that we were promoting a "form of Street Racing" on a Dirt Bike forum. Now you say, Bill is a straight up quy, who (only) seem to be promoting Street Racing on a Dirt Bike forum.
Bill did not even take the time to look at our web sites or he would see, that we race off road and on a track. We do not street race. Bill started off by attacking us. Bill should have checked his facts first. Ok, I'll give Bill the benefit of the doubt, Bill started off on the wrong foot. Show me how to make my post conform to your Dirt Bike forum? Keny

"..or something like that" - it was suggestive of you doing something less 'wholesome' than how it was presented, not a direct accusation of street racing.. and I agree with him. Bill's former post was not about street racing - it was about someone's souped up car.
Again - not to get in front of Bill, but you're not going to find some young, pretty girl on a random forum on the internet and turn her into the next Ricky C, or Pastrana. Racing is about talent, skills, and opportunity - sponsorship is about a mutual benefit from those skills, and the financial capabilities of the financier. Posting to a forum, looking for young women to participate in a sport like yours? C'mon - our collective IQ's arent that low. If you want to 'comform' to our forum, then give us a little more credit than that!
We're about Dirt bikes, and everything related to dirt bikes. If you have a carb problem, need to know how to adjust your valves, or want to know of some good places to ride, come see us and post a question. But if you want to insult our intelligence, we really just don't want to play.
I read your website - looks legit. I just cannot come to terms with the way you solicit riders. I doubt anyone else around here will either.

Kenny, For your information I did look at your site. And I am aware of the readers you seek (Easyrider comes to mind). If you didn't get the hint that I know what your into when I suggested a biker bar. I have no problems with Harley Davidsons or the lifestyle that goes with them. I too like street racing, drag racing, pretty much anything with an engine. I just truely feel this is not the place for it. I am also in disagreement with your restrictions. Defend them all you like, but I also disagree with your reasons. I know for a fact that when you pull the man, or in this case woman, from the street bit you will get some undesireable results no matter what your restrictions are. The fact that you are willing to do this with high dollar racing tells me you want someone attractive to model your bike in the magazines and be able to claim to have ridden the bike. I think you should be upfront and say it as it is. I also know that no woman is going to bounce back up after falling off a high speed run. She would simply be lucky to be alive.
i am not a stupid man. I have been around the block enough to know when something is legit and when it is being pulled as a scam. I believe your records, engines, and racing are legit. I don't believe you are being completly up front with your recruiting methods. I do hope you have enough sense to explain to these girls the full implications involved with your sport and what you expect out of them in return.

Hi
Again, I point out that this section of the Forum is: Off Topic. And just what do you do with a 500 hp auto on the street? Keny

For that matter, Keny - what do you do with a 100HP auto on the street? A car with an average CD only requires about 40HP to reach the Federal speed limit. So that either makes YOU a street racer too, or a hipocrit! Unless - of course - your ride has a teensy tiny motor in it. I'm starting to smell strawberries!
Off topic - sure, this is the right place. But off topic doesn't mean 'repository for deceptive posts'.

Hi Someone called to point out that I owe you two a big thank you. ONE: On this forum, our post has had a very large number of view. Your complaints are keeping us on top of the page. TWO: Should you do a Google Search you find our Dirt Rider post listed on the first page of the search. THREE: We checked our two web sites and the stats show a record number of visits, many listed as being from Dirt Rider. WELL, if we had any thing for sale, you two would be making me rich. We do not sell anything and our web sites are family friendly. Our offer of sponsorship is still open! Keny Kenylyon@hotmail.com 310 637 6094
