Hey, I have a 04 suzuki rmz 250. The piston rod snaped in half and the rod punctured thru both sides of the wall. (No clue how this happened?) I am not sure of how the bottem end is, but im sure its messed up too. I can not afford to fix it, yet my friend wants to buy it off me. The problem is he cannot find a new or used engine to replace it. Where would be a good place to purchase one?

Find a junk yard that deals with dirt bikes, even if its one you found on line.
Tell them what you need, have him do a check across nation. If there is one to be had they will find it.
You can have it shipped to you.

Do a search, type in (used dirtbike parts) and you will get a bunch of places to check out.

Sometimes, but thats just it let one of the junk yards find it for you. They are connected nation wide. I got many parts this way before I could afford new.
