I hear ya buddy they are calling for rain here to all weekend be me and the young lad are going to head off to a couple different tracks this weekend so he (we) can get some practice in for the upcomming race season...rain or shine we always ride...  

Hope you have fun. There calling for 40% chance here but were going anyway.

Ha ha...nothin like hittin the trails(or track) after or during a good rain. Huge puddles, nice loose dirt, AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN DIRT RIDER HISTORY, THE BOARD WILL BE ABLE TO SAY WOODS' BIKE DIRTY!!!!!! Have fun man!  

man that sucks...its 60-70's here and dry. i just made a 25 foot mini jump off my mound of dirt. been hittin it with the kdx. let me say....25 feet gets a lot longer of a gap when your on a bike that doesn't jump to save anyones life  

This sux azz! First, I had to work last night, Just got home. Tierd, Went to get gas in my van and the batt is deader then a door nail! I have a jump box and it will start but then just dies with the box off!
WTF? It ran great the other day. I have it on a 4 hr charge now. What do you want to bet my alltinator is shot?
But how can it go when i wasent driving it and kill the batt??? Nothing was left on?
And guess what...Its absulutly beutiful out!!
Think i might tak a nap and re group.
This is BAAAAD timing for the van to *** the bed money wise! I'm not even going to tell her when she calls.

Sounds like your battery is dead. Start it up with the box on it and let it run. Check battery with an Ohm meter and see if your reading between 15-17 volts with the engine running. If not your alt is bad. Otherwise bad battery if it doesn't hold charge.

  Box on it just to get the battery charged up a bit then take it off. If it dies try a new battery.

On a different note, its a great day here but the track is closed! The answering machine said it was too wet and muddy. I guess they don't want to have to maintenance the track. So here I sit reading all the words of wisdom I can find from Skip!

Its a bad alt! Wont hold a charge. Well...its a 91 and this is the first time anything has happened with it sence i'v owned it so..! It just sits all summer except on the weekend to haul my bike. Guess she is do for alittle maint.  

Time to strap it on the vette!

Well...Thats how it works. What really makes me mad is it did not rain all day and was 60.  

well if it makes you feel any better woods I rode for the first time in a year today...well not exactly a year but only a week away from being exactly one year since I broke my leg. Felt good Im sore but it was good. damn van
