ya all of the ones im finding under 3 grand are a little beat up, or raced. theres one in minnisoda that looks like it might be worth the trip.and to answer whoever asked the question on why i wanted a yz250...well, the 125's don't have the power i desire, 4 strokes are to expensive, i don't like kawasaki's bad handling trait, honda's have weird powerbands, KTM's...to expensive to buy and maintain, suzuki's are known to have clutch weakness problems(so im not going to drop all my money on a bike, then have to screw with the clutch) yz's were rated the lightest feeling, thats why they got 1st over ktm, ktm's have amazing power, but the reason the yz won was because of its handling and light feel. and i have my mind pinned to a yz250, so i guess it wouldn't really matter if i wanted the bike that got the worst rating in the magor 5 brands because im going to spend my money on what 'I' want

A good choice!!! We don't own these bikes because there crap!
And as Skip said, One of the few things about bieng older is that we can afford the best toys!
And if there was better it would be in my garage!

Just put alittle Charmin (2Ply) in your riding pack. You will be fine.
If i know you, your respounce will be " I know how to ride!" Just telling you that if this bike is fresh, its a hand full in the woods. Don't ride it like your RM.
I know you can ride, But just feel it out.

Nobody said you're not ready Adam.  They are just warning you the power is that much greater.  You can get yourself into trouble a lot faster with a 250.

yes i know.....i here it enough from my dad, you guys don't need to remind me. im not that stupid....i can put together that 125cc+125cc=250cc yes yes i got it. iv road a 400 4-stroke, iv road a 250 before. its not like its a cr500.....i think ill be ok

But even after 20 years of riding, this bike still scares me, and if everyone's being honest, the bike catches them off guard too, sometimes!  It's an AWESOME bike and you're gonna love it!
