Hey guys,

I recently posted to sk about a CRF230 VS CRF250 and got 250 all across the board.

I now have an opp to get a 2004 KX 125, still on its 2nd tank of gas. He's asking 2200$ and I will get it for probably $1900.

Will this be enough to have fun with at the track, given it's a 2 stroke? I remember the powerband on my old CR 125 was fairly impressive (although I was 14 at the time and only ~ 140lbs).

ya i would 04 that pretty new its the same as a250f  

125's are an absolute blast on the track! You have to keep it on the pipe, much moreso than a 250, but that's part of the fun and will develop your skills much faster.  I'd say go for it!  
Since when is Dirt blue??!!!

I would only pay 1900! 2000-2200 is avg. price for an 04 125.

it sounds like a good deal if its as new as you said. i have an 04 rm125 and i love it. i havnt had the chance to get on a track yet but i made some jumps by my house and its a lot of fun. i hope evrything works out for ya

Your def going to want to stiffen it up for your waight if jumping it i would emagin, but great bikes for sheer chits and giggles! good luck.  

Well, sorry to disappoint the 2-strokes lovers but I ended up trading my snowmobile for CRF250R yesterday.

More than happy with the bike so far, 1st time on track tonight.  

No disappointment, just hope you have a fun and safe experience w/ your crf.
