No Skipper, I'm saying I am already unbalanced enough to be unheathily addicted to anything and everything to do with machines that go in the dirt.  And I am more than interested in learning your process on how to find optimal settings.  I am not as into the engine settings as you are but I am more than a little interested.  My bigger interest is into playing with suspension settings.  Together we could make a bike everyone could love.

We sure could Bill - I SUKK at suspension and really want to learn more about tweaking it!  BTW - we're in the same boat.. I have OCD so for me it's either working on my bikes or taking dope-me-out pills.. I opt for the bikes

P.S.  I agree Woods - this is GREAT!  I NEVER in a million years expected this thread to get so much action.. I just wanter to share about a project I was embarking on.  All I expected were a few 'good lucks'

Ok, so Skip, single probe EGTs are about $200.00. Does this mean that when your done we could buy one of them and dial in ur findings?  

Afraid not - you will need the datalogger too
But I have a feeling what I will learn in this experiment will have value worth sharing, and may be useful - even if you don't have a probe.
