I don't know how many of you are actually subscribers to DIRT RIDER,the magazine, but i'm guessing it is less than half of you.So if you don't subscribe...stop reading here and go back to the menu and post about how comfy it is to ride in sneakers instead of riding boots. The rest of you please turn to page 22 of your JULY 2008 issue(Jimmy-Rigged). This out of touch magazine editor claims we are NOT in a recession! What a total jack-ass!I can't believe this statement made it to print!! In Transwold Motocross(apparently a publication that is more in touch with reality)there was an interview with K-Dub(Kevin Windham)and on page 106 of the august2008 issue he says that this is the first time in his LONG career that a recission is effecting his industry! If a top level racer feels it-why doesn't Jimmy Lewis?!?! Either he is way above #14's salary(doubtful),or his head is just stuck even deeper up his butt than usual!! Thank you and enjoy $5 a gallon!!!

Great post baily, I'm a subcriber and have busted on Jimmy for his lackadaisical Rigged articals. But to be fair, he has put up really good info as well, including the conscious responsibilty that we all have as riders to keep this sport alive. And although your comments are always welcome, I have to say, You have to be here longer then 10 min before you start busting on our whipping boy! Oh.. Sorry that's Pete. My bad...Anyway only we can do that! So stick around and if you don't like the mag then don't get it. I tried to get rid of mine years ago, Dam things just keep showing up . So i have to read them as the comics only go so far on the toilet after a night of burritos And speaking of which, I also USED to have a subscrition to Trans World. I still find the mags very useful as I read Jimmy's rants. Just don't use the glossy pages. Ow!

Are you kidding? Love flip-flops in July, I just tape a little gauze on the shift-lever peg, for some padding.

alright,alright...you guys win!! But its just that jimmy lewis has irked me ever since he took over the job from Ken Faught. I even let my subscription lapse for a while, but I missed the damn magazine too much and recently re-subscribed.Jimmy may be a pantload, but the rest of the staff rocks!!
to yz woods- I've been on for a little more than 10 mins, when message board changed the format I went from being known as "lumpedup" to my new alias "hmbailey"
