ok so my friend has a 2001 cr125 and he asked me to jet it for him and i was wondering if anything is wrong with the stock jetting on that bike. he lives around 1000 feet.

probably not. but if you want the bike to run top notch, and not spooge.. i'd jet it. also, it depends if you have the bike piped or not. clean the carb for him too.. he'd be happy.

The biggest problem with the jetting on that bike was a stupid-rich pilot.  Switch to a 37.5 and dial in the airscrew.
As for the rest, the main is fine, but he should try the needle in clip #2 and see if it doesn't run a little snappier.

ok so i found the jetting that mxa used on their stock bike.

they left the main and pilot the same. the stock needle is a 6BEG20-68 but they changed that to this 6BEG21-69, put the clip on the 1st position, the moved the air screw for 2.25 turns to 1.5 turns, and slide stock is 5 but they recommend 4.5

do you think these changes sound right and do you think i should make these changes to his bike.

Elko - I don't agree with their jetting... before you go spend a lot of time with that, change the pilot and try the clip move I recommended.  If it doesn't make it run right, then you can go hog wild with MXA's jetting changes  Slides aint cheap, brother!
