Weather cooperated (chance of storms but they did not show up till Saturday night); tracks all in good shape; plus we all left with bodies and bikes in good shape!

Im riding this weekend I'll post a group pic. I've been meaning to do that. there is usually 6-8 of us that go.

Me, my son Kevin, my friend Carl and his son Greg are the riders, my wife and Carls generally go as does my other son.  We ride and sometimes cook out at the track or stop somewhere for dinner afterwards.

To me, I'ved noticed less riders at the track overall.  Not sure if its gas prices or the economy overall; but its not been crowded at all this year.  Closet day to being crowded was over July 4th; but even that was not too bad

Hey dave you get new gear?

Earlier this year.  Wearing Thor (2007, love those end of year closeouts   ).

They are the vented mesh, and actually I do feel they are much cooler to wear (compared to my black Fox gear...).  I've read they don't hold up as well (vented summer stuff) but so far they have done well.

Every year it seems the helmet count gets bigger where i ride.

Nah!!, I live in central Mass. and I'm lucky enough to have large trail system. a lot of it is sled trails but its well mixed with fields and sand pits.
Not too many fireroads, but pretty wide single track. definately enough to be gone for 3-4 hours on any given day.

I followed it once using "Google earth" it was pretty cool. I could see  all the places that we stop.  

So it's fed/state land? My closest OHV trails are 1.5 hrs. away.

I google earthed my house, it blew my mind that I could even find it.  

Yeah we have a lot of powerlines and some railroad tracks the we use to link the trails. U really never have to use someones yard or touch a street  except to cross em.
