Hi i own a ktm 125 sx and my bike is starting to idle in higher rpm's to keep it running. The bike won't idle in first gear without stalling unless i crank the idle up but then it will be to high to put it into neutral. I cleaned the carb, put the right jetting, and put a new air filter on it. Is this a sign to rebuild the top end? or is something else wrong with the bike?

Have you tried adjusting the idle screw?

What do you mean the idle is too high to put in neutral? Can you shift into neutral or do the rpm's continue to rise while it's in neutral?

But surely Chud if he had the clutch in it would not make any difference?

it seems that when the rpm's are high with the clutch in its alot harder to put it into neutral.
