Ok, so my mate has got a Aprilia Hill Climber trials bike. Runs great, however recently it will only run with the choke on. You can warm the bike up as much as you want, but as soon as your push the choke in, it cuts out. I suggested, taking the carb apart and cleaning it out. Is there anything else?

Sorry MATE lol din't see this. Check...idle jet and idle screw first. Then air/fuel adjust screw. Does it Bogg and die or just DIE fast?  

I like to start simple and go with prosses of elimination! Can save you time and money

Thats ok Woods. Ermm I'm not particulally sure, he only told me it died as soon as he pushed the choke in. I'll ask him and get back to you.

sounds like the idle jet!  
When in doubt, apply more throttle.

I forgot, this was a 3rd party problum.  

Lol, well I spoke to him today, and he said it was running fine now. He said it took the carb out and gave a good clean, with carb cleaner and an air line.Problem sorted!

Well..That cleaned up the slow jet. And good for the others as well. DAM...92, I was trying to start small!
