Ok heres the deal. After 4  really good hard rides since my rebuild. Although there was no noticeable power increase everything seems to be a go. My total for the rebuild is around $235. Thats for piston, rings, top end gasket kit, valve seals, cam chain and fluids.

And if thats the norm then I figure the next time I re-ring it, the cost shouldn't be more than $100 for gaskets, rings and fluids.

This is my experience and urs may differ, but so far I don't see this bike being really much more than my two-stroke to maintain.

I also put the new tire on and the new cheap chain and a used 51 tooth sprocket which i think works way better in the woods than my 49.
