Doesn't sound good. Got a pic? if the chip catches the ring ur done. u may be able to smooth it down but it'll most likely give u trouble.

sounds like a plan smurf! I like doing things the way that doesn't cost any money lol should work. if it doesn't worth a try, and if it does work, you just saved yourself a couple hundred bucks ~pat

yea i was suprised though the cylinder looked really good other than that chip it measured great too but man the bile looks like someone has ridden it to hell and back on a daily bassis the frame was broke up near the seat (how that happens i dont know!!)the water pumps leaking.. it had a big gash up the side of the piston the rear brake lever hole in the frame is like wallered out (dunno how im goin to fix that yet) all the plastics are cracked or have been painted...its rough

you can split the casings. which suckssss. and takes a while. or you cand drain as best as you can. strip the motor down as best as you can. and tip it on one side. maybe airing it out with an air compressor after maybe like 6 hours? then another 6. should be dry then. ~pat i've had a swamped bike before and it sucks. sympathy is with you man lol

Where was the chunk of metal that came from teh chip? I'll bet that gouged your piston. to fix your "brake lever hole" i'm assuming this is where the bolt goes in. and its stripped? You could get a longer bolt. with a nut on the end. to hold it on there. Or you could re thread it with a threading bit. and get a larger diameter bolt. I would just use a longer bolt with a nut on the end if there is space permitting it. frame break up can be caused by over jumping it. right there near the seat. ~pat
