hey i got a 06 yz250 2 stroke pretty much stock where i go trail riding it says i need to be under 96 db and must have a spark arrestor does my bike come with one ? i wanted to go riding tommrow now i prob wont be able to thats lame where can i get a spark arrestor from or can i make one my self or wat do i dooo?

Does your bike have a spark arrestor? How should I know? lol!!

well it doesnt look like it i seen a few pics thats lame man why the hell doesnt yamaha put those in their bikes if they are sellin them to a country which requires u have a spark arrestor wtf thats lame man i was just askin some one esle who might have a yz 250 if they got one in theirs haha i gues not laamme i guess i cant ride tommrow

C'mon dude, there is no easy fix here! The quietest silencers will be 96db. You have to buy a PC type296 or FMF Q! No other way around it!

I can't remember, but was there a post a couple months back on how to make your own spark arrestor? I seem to remember something along those lines...

It may be possible, but it wont dampen the noise level.

you'll have to get a silencer.
You know if you have a spark arrestor by just looking at it, of course, if you know what your looking for.

I know a PC type 296 pipe would get the job done.

No just PA mud.  

just some FYI your bike stock should easily come in under the 96db and is there not a spark arrestor already on the bike?  

Look at the pic. Thats stock.  

Did the 06 yz250 come stock w/ a spark arrestor? I cant see if theres a screen in ther Woods.
