O.K. so last night after work I went to work on the track and I was planning on being there until dark well I fueled up the tractor and just got it on the track and well yeah one of the rear tires blew off...they guy has left the tractor outside pretty much its whole life so the tires are pretty much weather dried and cracked pretty badly and they all really need replacing...so I called the guy last night and he said he doesnt really have the money right now to replace it and its not really his priority (the moto track) he is concentrationg more on the go karts then the motos, yeet when I talked to him the other night he had all these plan to bring the CMX to the track and all these big dreams and kinda got me excited then he says this WTF

Dude that suks. But i wouldn't stop there. gather up ur buddies and get them 2 his place. show him that he needs to complete this. You will have more luck with a bunch of riders than just u alone.

Tell him your new ideas and that its ok if u start small just draw attention to it. maybe get a little membership going or have them write a letter saying that they need a track!!

I hear ya...I think I will do that...I tried to explain to him how important the tractor is to his entire facility...I was even thinking mabye goin got him and seeing if he would give me control over the track part of the facility and give him a percentage of the imcome...I am definatly going to rally some guys together...I am not going to give up on this, personally I think we could have a larger venue coming as early as next year if he lets me do what I have planned...I will keep everyone informed...this place has alot of potential it just needs to be run properly...

yeah man even it out it would be kinda cool to have the playing field equal where everybike between 125-450 will have a sweet spot on the track, and you gotta throw in a badass finsish line jump, sounds like a sweet deal, but he better be paying for the gas and throu in some cash
everything looks better 35 ft off the ground...Generation DMF

have a nice rhythem section. real steep lips and steep landings. like 3 doubles or 2 triples. like you would come out of a tight turn with a nice good burn. like a 90 degree turn with two burms around it. an inside line and an outside line. about 10 feet out of the turn you would have the first jump and the landing about 15 feet away from them, then another 15 feet have the next jump and continue with that pattern until you have like 3 doubles. have them small, kind of look like whoops but bigger. they are nice because they are great practice for people just learning to jump and they are nice in a race, because they are great competition if you have them close to the finish line because of the 2 lines through them you can get some real competitive side by side racing through them and they are real techniqual so that if you mess up while racing it could cost you a few positions. and have a turn right at the end of it with the same 2 inside and outside burm around it. but you have to do something to even it up. like have the turn that goes into and out of this section have them both turn right but the next turn would turn left.

another thing that are good is have an uphill jump. and another thing that doent seem real popular but i love them are downhill jumps.

have an all sand turn. i wouldnt do the wood chip thing because they could be dangerous. and clay is awesome. if you can get some clay you can pack it on the jumps. they wont deteriate as fast. you should turn over the track with a rotilater or one of those big things that hook up onto tractors that turn over soil for farming. they work perfect to turn over the track, to get all the rocks out.

maybe some off camber turns. i would try and keep the track around 1 mile in size. and remember that you dont need to pack a million jumps into it. a couple flat straights are good just to pick up some speed or maybe just like a small like 2 foot high jump that is like 25 feet long with like no landing just dig out the middle like 2 feet down. its basically to just give you a couple speed sections.

i would take out the side things of the jumps if you want some attention by those people you were talking about. but if the jumps are mostly table tops and the double you have are flatter jumps and not kickers, like how a mx track is suppose to be like then the slower people can roll over them or single them.

Think about putting together a business plan and sit the owner down and sell your point and the capital you need to make the improvements and make it a profitable option.  If you can sell the idea that he can make a profit, I am sure he will reconsider the idea.  I know insurance is over the top high for a track.

As far as a track design, there is no reason to make it too technical.  Most of your customers are weekend warriors and have to go to work or school on Monday.  From my experience the best track I have ever ridin is Seminole Tribe Motocross in florida.  The track is 1.2 miles and consists of nice sweeping corners, a rythm section, 4 to 5 doubles, 2 to 3 tables and for me you can stay on the throttle.  Your entire program should be as safe and fun as possible.

Good luck
