1997 cr80 expert clutch plates

just got a 1997 cr80 expert! it awesome runs great rides great! it just needs some clutch plates ![]()
i've have done these before and just looking for some tips and maybe where to get plates?
oh and the only reason i think it needs plated is because when i put into gear it wants to die and it will if you dont rev it up. do i have the right diagnosing?
`97 cr80 expert(great) `77 xl75(good) paying 550 for both... PRICELESS!!!!

Something with the clutch not sure tho.

Maybe you clutch isnt adjusted properly or your you may just need a new clutch cable.

Is the bike warmed up propperly before putting it into gear? And also make sure the clutch cable is adjusted correctly - otherwise you might be chucking some new clutch plates in there for no reason.

Check what 92 said and change the trany oil first.

so are most parts from cr 80's and experts interchangeable?
