I'm looking foward to buying a new bike and yesterday i came across this guy thats selling a 2006 rmz250 for very cheap. Im kinda broke right now and need to make sure its a good buy. He was asking 2800 but i managed to get it down to 2500. What are the pros and cons of this bike? I'm a begginer, i dont race, i just ride for fun would it be a good bike? he says nothing is wrong with it

Has it been raced? does it look like its in good condition? has the topend been done on it since he bought it? how often did he check the valves? take it for a test ride.
if he hasn't done the topend since he bought it. you could be looking at thousands of dollars to get it up to good as new, especially if he raced it.
