Figured id start a new thread. I was riding all day today, and ya know the problem I got. The oil dripping from the exhaust silencer connector. Here is how much leaked. I got the 390 main jet on the way, and will try running some H1R next time. But what do i need to do to get this problem solved. Thanks guys. and you know my 02 cr125 has stock jetting with a fmf gold series fatty with powercore 2 silencer.

ya its ure packing there 6 $ at fmf thats ure prob and ure bike looks like my bike before packing changed i got that sticker to same spot  

forgive me for stirring this one up again. but that just doesn't seem to be a reasonable amount for the packing to soak up everytime you ride! you would need enw packing every 2 rides. There is something else. but i dont get it if your not fouling plugs and the bike runs fine. i think it would be the oil. but who knows. what octane you running? ~pat

nope that is definitly from packing, get the new packing and new oil and you should be fine. if it still leaks after a couple rides then i dont know what to tell you because its not your jetting, so the only other thing i can think of is a bad seal but then you would be fouling plugs.

are you telling me my packing soaks up that much oil every ride? b.s. the oil theory i understand. thats hte only thing left because everything else would leave him fouling plugs left and right. it just dont seem right. take some packing. put that much oil in it. do that twice and after that it would just start again. ~Pat

nope packing soaks up more then you would think.

how's it run at idle these days?
you might have a bad crank seal there-that is a lot of oil!  

i thought mine was bad before i got a new seal ... but wow thats redonkulous

Wow!  You definitely need new packing; not to stop the spooge but I guarantee the existing packing is soaked.  

You also may want to look at replacing the silencer/header connector so it doesn't leak.  Some of that has to be getting to the rear brake disc I would bet.

Hope the new jetting helps; but that seems very excessive to me.

Hay its the CR Valdize. Dave said it. You need to fix the silencer seal.
Then re-pack the can. Then go to HIR and see if you start oozing out the back bad.
Your running 32:1 right? Thats alot of oil for no foul of the plug. Is your plug black wet after a ride? Gotta be. If your putting the bike and really cant get on the pipe alot where you ride i would then go to 40:1 H1R to lean out a tad. And get the self wrap roll to re pack so if you need to do it again you will have enough to do again insted of the pre formed packing.
