well its helped me sometimes, if i wanna drop the rear down to do a really cool lookin superman seat grab i get on the throttle and the bikes almost verical and when i get back on it foot on the brake, nose goes down, i mean it cant be wrong cause i can do it on command, when my nose is high on a jup, tap the brake till the nose is even with the landing and wham, but i mean, hell, the dirtbikes so light the gyro has a good effect, but body position control is over all better

it doesnt matter. i still say you have more control with your body weight.
i cant remember which magazine it was but it was 101 mx tips from pros and that is where i learned to use body weight.

hey i went to the crust demons world of records in melbourne were robbie maddison done 3851 ft. i was there when he done it. i saw his back tyre go down and u tell it was going down as if he was tapping the brakes. the host interviewed him after it and they asked what happened with the back end.. he replied it looked like a rough landing so i tapped the BACK brake to pull my back wheel down(not actual words but similar) coming from the person who has done the biggest jump in the world.. the back brake pulls the back tyre down not noes dive.

that doesn;t make sense. the faster the rear tire is the higher the airspeed will be around hte tire. decreasing the "density" of the air making it drop. same principle airplanes use. making air move faster over a surface decreases hte presure it has on that object making it move faster. i dont know what your talking about 3851 feet thats b.s. thats over half a mile and noone has gotten even remotely close lol. try 322 feet is it?. think! ~pat

talking about the rear break thing. your not doing what you think your doing then. they call it a panic rev for a reason. your nose starts diving. so you pin it dropping the rear faster then the fron which is the same as "lifting" the front. applying the rear brake is going to slow the rears fall and is going to let the front drop faster. ~pat
