ok, heres an update on my problem, it runs fine when its cold, but after about 5 minutes it acts like it wants to seize up, im thinking that.... running it to lean im at 36:1 and was 32:1, or spark plug burning to hot????, not sure but i was running an brg8 and a brg9 and both same results, dont have all kind of mon ey to trow away 4 galons of gas and try again, but i believe its the fuel not rich enough and not lubing the cylinder walls like they need to be???, well whatever it is, its aggervating

ok i switched back to 32:1 still does it, but its not getting the power like the 36:1... so i guess thats why it makes it more manageable to ride, cause it doesnt get to the top end as fast as the 36:1, but i need that top end, idk maybe the top end jet(if there is one, idk, main or w/e) could be cloged up, and i need to tear down the carb and clean it and maybe go up a size in that jet???, idk, i need help from somebody that knows what im takin about and knows something about jets to tell me how to correct me, cause i got no clue whatsoever

but heres another thing im thinkin of, i just cleaned the entire exaust system, new air filer, (old one crombled up in my hand and was dark brown and waaaay to oily) so i could be breathing better but not getting the gas that i need to mix right so i must be running lean on the main, i onlt get half throttle then it starts to blurp right before the powerband and presto! no power

its not your gas. its your jetting. you have to describe exactly what happens at certain parts of the throttle.

i believe there stock jets, not to sure though, but when i just begin to ride its perfect, but 2-3 minutes after, it looses power and wont got past 3/4 throttle without blurping the throttle and throwing a **** fit, like its starving for gas

Based on what you said with the filter (crumpled in your hand); have you taken the carb off and cleaned it well?  May have a lot of crud in it.

Along those lines; you may want to al least take the head of and see what the piston and cylinder walls look like.

The warmer a bike motor gets, the richer it runs...

OK - first, listen to Dave - clean the carb and inspect the topend.  I expect at least some damage by allowing the filter to get that bad.

As for the jetting.  Let's start by leaning the pilot (stock is 50) to a 45, and leaning the needle (stock is 3rd clip) to the 2nd clip.

ok, now how much would the jets cost, and what does leaning it out do?, are you saying its running to rich? the plug isnt fouling, its perfect but the running hot thing makes sense and i thought i would need to go up a size to make it richer, but i see what you are aaying,

The jets cost about $5 apiece. You only need 1 - the #45 pilot jet, as the needle you have is 'adjustable'.

But its important to check the condition of the topend first - if the filter was crubling, then those 'crumbles' made it into your motor.

The jetting recommendations I gave you are, in fact, leaner - due to the fact that this model was jetted very rich from the factory.  The spec I gave you was what the jetting should have been, stock.

Upsizing would be richer. richer= mo gas
                           leaner=less
