You can easily change jets yourself, skip posted a HOW-TO thread on changing jets under bike maintenance.

ok checked it out seems simple, but not sure which one to get, heres how my bike is running.....like it has a rev limiter, sounds just like it, and a little spitting, and wont run as fast as it does during the first 5 minutes, so how many sizes down if its running rich and how many sizes up if its running lean?, but skip told me to get the pilot, and move the needle, but i talked to a guy at the shop and he said the main, im not syin anybodys wrong, so im gonna get both main and pilot, at least there not an arm anda leg, and to get them out i have to take the bottom off the carb like in the thread right?

Make jetting changes in small increments.

By best advice is to start with the pilot and move your way up.

So - get your pilot circuit sorted, then your needle, and finally your main.  Each circuit overlaps, so to get it right you have to step through all of them.

Let's start with the pilo and needle specs I gave you, and then we can see how the main is doing. You will get different opinions, but personally I like to deal with the main last.

To get to the jets - follow the direction is my thread.. and yes, it's the bottom of the carb that has to come off for the pilot and main, and the top of the carb for the needle..

ok, well i think the pilot screws into the bottom of the main, the main is 633, and i think it says 360 on the bottom of the one that screws into the main, i think it has to be the pilot cause i cant find any other ones in there

The pilot is next to the main.  The main is in the center. The main screw into the nozzle jet. the one marked 360 IS the main. look right next to that main and you will see a smaller jet - that one is the pilot.

You got it!

Now remember - this is our first shot... we very well be changing a jet here or there until your bike is totally dialed in.  When Chud and I did it, I bet he changed jets 10 times before it was perfect.  Understood?

And you will be so happy you did it yourself! It would have been impossible for a dealer to tune my bike.

yes, they didnt have the 45 pilot, they had evrything but so i was like welll......i got a main jet 350 size and it has a trmendous difference, runs great, but no i can fell a little on the bottom, so its time to get a 45 pilot when they get them in, and it should be fine, i havet changed the needle cause the son of a ***** almost stripped on me, so ill get it another time, but for now thissl do, buuuut like always youll want more, which i do, so i got to get that damn pilot!!!

You can also order a new slide, needle and seat, if you cant remove the old one. After changing the pilot, you will definitely WANT MORE , and the only way you will get it, is by moving the clip.
