Muddy - you don't need a tach that goes real high - you can by an hour meter with a tach built in for about $40 at your local dealer.  Not only do you get the tach, but it keeps track of the hours on your motor, so you know exactly when to do maintenances!

sweet, that sounds cool, but can i munt it anywhere? cause it cant be on the handlebar cause i do freestyle and already had to get rid of the bar pad,

On my Honda, I mount it on the CDI behind the number plate.  On my Yamaha's I mount it on the side of the frame (in front of the tank) or on the airbox under the seat...
You don't need to see it when you are riding, only when you adjust the air screw.

ok, thats cool, i got to go get one then, it feels good to have the bike running, man yesterday these girls came out there when i was doin some freestyle and they wanted to ride with me while i was jumping....wtf????, hell they did and they had a blast, there to short to stand the bike up, lol,but i got on a bicyclye and ate *** big time, wrecked, wham, over the bars, **** a bicycle
