FMF recommends a 125 main for this bike, so I'd say the 140 is your problem. They also recommend 3rd clip position from the top. We count from the top, not the bottom. Top=blunt end, bottom=point

yeah his pilot is lean and his main is way rich i just wanted to know what the stock setting are so i can tell him what to change it too. the stock needle position is the 3rd. and i am going to go on a limb and say the stock main is probably around 128 or 130 and the pilot should be around 50. but the stock setting should be fine. i looked at v-force webseite and they said that the stock setting are normally good for their reeds.

I forgot to say the motor is 90cc with porting done also.the first 4 races the bike ran like a champ. Then hit a large puddle on the track. Been down hill since then. What about the stator  Thanks

What about the stator? Were the temps cooler for the first 4 races?

Running like crap at 3/4+ throttle is an issue w/ main jet.  Install the next smaller main and see if this solves your problem.

it could also be a needle issue if its only at 3/4. if it continues all the way to wot then it is a main issue.

When I put the 135 in, it pops and backfires, way to lean. Put in the 138 no change from the 140. Back to square one again.
