we did everything you said 2 times except rejet it and repack muffler. im thinkin it may be jetting 2... once were done with this powervalve crap we will check that out. ill get the numbers off em post em up here maybe u guys can help me with the right ones. thank yoy for your help.

Check that muffler to. If the core is blown out and the packing obstructing the exhaust exit then you will have a lot of problems too. When you get all your other stuff done make a new post that says something like What Jetting do I need for a 98 RM 125. Skip will give you a close idea. Let him know what the altitude and temp are in your area. You said it has the proper compression correct? It can be very frustrating when you have a bike that has some unknown problems, but it will be worth it if the bike is in generally good condition. Just be careful you don't end up spending more on it than its worth. At some point it will be worth more as parts than a good bike.  

yah the compression is good and i am aware of that. im getting alot of good deals on parts.

ok well my uncle called me last night and he said that after adjusting the powervalve it started to hit powerband!!!! it just wont idle.... so i guess just a few minor adjustments and this bike should be screaming

ill be sure to too. well my quad is coming home from my camp this weekend and my bike will be hopefully ready then so after a whole year without riding i can finally ride!
