Apprently it is best to stay well away from the O'neil boots. I haven't personally experienced the O'neil boots, but others have told of many twisted ankles...
To be honest with you, it is best to spend the higher end on boots.

Yeah, Thor and Alpinestar both makes extremely good boots. If you are going to spend top-end try looking at some Gaerne boots.

How much you got to spend? If you have the money Alpinestar would probably your best bet but Thor and FOX are also good but alpinestar is well liked and A very good brand.

He just said he wasnt spending a lot. I knwo how you feel. Look for used perhaps. I got a pair of thor, not sure which ones lol, for 50 bucks, a little used. in fine condition though. From a guy down the road who recently had sold his bike and didnt need htem any more. It saves a lot of money, and chances are, theres not gonna be anything wrong with them, and the only wear on htem would be wear that would be on there in a couple hours anyway. I am now a thor man by the way, i love hte boots

I like the tech 3's by alpinestar. They are the most comfortable for me. Snug fit with flex for shifting and walking. They fit me better then some of the high end brands.

Get the Alpinestars tech 3s. My dad has them and they work and look great. They come in red/black, white, gray, and black. they are $169. When I was getting boots i tried on the oneils and they hurt my feet. they were extremely tight.
