I am a little stuck. I have always rode 4 strokes and love the tractor feel but i am finding the CRF 250X is pretty spendy used. My father on the other hand lives breaths and sleeps 2 strokes. He believes that a KTM 200 EXC or XC-W would be a fantastic bike for me. And after reaserching craigslist classifieds etc.. the 200 is almost half the price with a lot more power and is lighter. Which for me is good (6 foot 130 lbs and i only woods ride) i would just like a 3rd party opinion thnx

oh yeah i am pretty experienced and have rode my dads 300 EXC quite a hand full i must say

The 4 stroke trail bikes that manufactures offer now are not all they are talked up to be. Basically if you like to sit on the seat and ride 1st and 2nd gear (if your feeling frisky) through the trails, then a 4 stroke CRF/X or WR will be fine.

If you like to ride aggressively, pound though whoops and rail every corner like its some kind of race, then the 2 stroke is a much better bike.

Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous.
