Im running 32:1 and the spark is FINE. Maybe I should have started a new thread about this problem. The bikes starts up realy easy but after atleast 5 minutes of riding, if I stall it by accident it wont start no matter what. I dont know if it would be the top end, the guy I bought it from had it done last year and only rode it for half a year. It's 2001 EXC, and yes I should get a manual.

*** who are you moto? lol i like you. yes. good points. i dont know how he tested the spark. so i cant say how accurate it was. ussualy if it is a spark problem it wont run at all. and if it does it is very spotty. it'll miss some ignitions and stuff. i'd have him clean the carb and check hte fuel. what mix is he running? he says hes got a new plug eh? ~pat

I brought the bike to the local dealer and it turns out it had a cracked reed.

Yeah she is good to go. Putting in new rear arms for the rear suspention sat. And thats it.

hahahaha. im so confused as to what to do though. cause i got so much invested in that bike. so much time im like attached to it. like a dog hahaha. it sounds gay i know but im not gonna like seeing the bike go. and it wont take to much to get it going..... im going to procrastinate as long as i can before making a decision. either way i'll have a ride next spring. and the 150 idea? i dunno. got a mini crotch rocket frame i can have somewhere. we shall see what happens. ~pat
