swapping rings

I cant really find a complete set of piston rings for my 1982 honda XL80S, but i can find a complete set for its counterpart the XR80. The only difference in the bikes is that mine is street legal, and is only 4 speed compared to 5, cus the XR80 was for racing. You think i could swap ring sets? or would there be to much of a compression difference?
