I have a brand new piston for an RM500.  But I paid quite a bit for it on Ebay, so to recover that I have to ask $175 for it...

I also have to check to see if this one is an overbore piston or not.  Do you know what size you are looking for?

P.S. do you need any other parts?  Do you have any extra parts you want to sell?

I am also restoring my 1984 RM500, I actually have 2 of them...

RM wasn't made very long, cr was supposed to have the most brutal hit in 85, yz's were the hardest acclerating from tuen to turn. Theres some old magazine test out there, but you gotta dig. The cr 480 and first year of the cr 500 was aircooled, 85s were water cooled. all rm 500s were air cooled, all yz 490's(my personal favorite)were air cooled, kxs went water cooled in 85, I think. Theres a lot of old bikes out there. The fastest dirt bike ever was a 1983 Maico 495, 123 mph with nothing but a gearing change. Those bikes are monsters.
