yeah. hey i do have a question about the trans oil. i put the recommended amount thats in the manual... but when i took it to a mechanic who did my valves said the oil should be at the level of the bleeder bolt on the bottom right side of engine.  this true? thx.

and true about the track lol i've jumped in 4th but i see what your sayin  

UPDATE:  me and my friend put his engine back together today. he got new crankshaft, piston, and crank. so we tried to put it in with everything still in it..big mistake. tried that for like 60 minutes lol, then took sun frame off and carb out, and went right in. but we moved the carb out of way and was gonna pull it through the small space between engine and frame...wouldnt work. so took engine out and put it back in lol. overall process took us about 2.5 hours haha.  and he went to start it and almost forgot to put trans oil in :O  but everything good and pulls like crazy.

no problem  the guy said the way to break in a racing bike like ours is to ride the piss out of it, which before his neighbor mechanic who worked on it said to break it in like quarter throttle for 10 minutes half throttle etc.. so i was surprised.  

ooh those are fighten words around here. jk

do a search there is a thread that skip made that explains how to break in a bike properly. just dont start a new thread cause it always turns into an argument.

Seems stupid, most of my friends don't get up till like 12:00-1:00. In my opinion that is half the day wasted, straight away!
