Welcome to the board Nick.  What area are you from?

Depends on the condition of the bike.  I have a '00 CR250 in excellent condition and feel it's worth at least $2000.  So yes it could be a great deal.  Lets see some pics.

What pipe?

You spell like Woods. (correct spelling wrong context.  Bored, Board, Bore, Boar) Lol.

You must ride a lot.  125s go through top ends quickly because they are constantly in the higher RPMS.  Even bored out ones.  When you feel like you are suddenly losing power your rings are worn out.  You can replace the rings more often then the piston, but I would change the piston every other time depending on it's condition.

Also running less than a 32:1 premix ratio (like 50:1) will cause the bike to go through top ends quicker too.
