Good news man. it was the ring.  i tore it apart in about twenty minutes and got to the nut behind the power valve cover. it ended up stripping out and i had to go through hell and high water to cut/grind it away from the stud w/out damaging the stud.  needless to say i could have had it running twice in the time it  took to repair that nut but oh well.  the ring was super thin in the middle and on the outsides it was fine.  it wasnt blown and the piston looked nice and white adn clean still (wiseco) the ring was just wore.  im ordering a new ring though instead of putting the used one on b/c there is a tiny notch i it and i dont want to have to do another rebuild in 2weeks lol! i might take pics of the ring or measure it to show/tell you what its like but as soon as i get my thread chasers from work and a new nut and ring ill be back in buisiness and ready to rock some more.  good luck nad ill keep u posted on it.
and btw guys, when a guy has a serious ? at least answer it at the end of the post if your going to be funny. some people actually comee to forums for help. i knew you were kidding but maybe he didnt anyways ive been wrenching all day at work and now here so im callin it a night.  all in good fun though guys.
