CR 85 weak and intermittent spark

My bike keeps quiting and won't start. After a day or two and a trip to the repair shop it runs for 1 or 2 hours. When I check the spark it seems weak or is not there.
Should I lean towards the stator or the coil.
Tired of pushing the bike out of the pits...

i have a 2006 handa cr85r expert and when my bike did that i changed the fuel screw so it got more air and that helped a little but i changed out the topend and now it runs like a top
