hell, i just take the filter out for maximum space and put my lunch in ther, extra socks and underwear ya know whatever i might need

The air box thing is a great idea. For storage I used a set of tank saddle bags for a four wheeler. They worked great with my 3.9 gallon or so desert tank on my 490. Don't know on a smaller bike, you'd have to try. Theres plenty of storage space for just about anything you would ever need on a dirt bike. Heres a link to the set I used.

i used to use a "day pack" that came off my hiking bag. it was like a giant fanny pack and i strapped it on to my number plate. and it worked great. didnt get in the way of anything and i had access to the bag while i was sitting on the bike. eventually the bottum wore out but you could fit the whole toolbox in there i believe moose racing makes one.. its damn handy ~pat
