Hi guys, new to the forum... I have an 01 Rm 250 with an FMF Faty with the stock silencer. Im wondering what the best FMF silencer to buy for trail riding. I ride mostly tight technical trails and race in a couple HS. Which silencer will give me more low end? Or even what other mods could I make on the bike to make it better in the trails?

bigger rear sprocket. and you have the choice of a powercore 2 or shorty. the shorty offers better bottom to mid power, so that would be the silencer i would go with but it is supposed to be used for strictly closed course competition but it is a very good silencer and that would still be the one i would use.

yah, i have about the my sprockets tuned for trails, big back small front.... the shorty was the one i was looking at, just needed a second opinion. thanks for the reply
