Replacing spark plugs...

I'm brand new to the world of dirt bikes and don't know much about repairing or maintaining them. I bought a '94 RM125 about two weeks ago and it's my first bike... I'm so pumped. But now the bike won't start. I was able to start it just the day before. From what I've researched in the message boards, I think I need to replace the spark plug? I think it's getting gas and the air filter was pretty clean when I pulled it out. Can anyone walk me through how to replace a spark plug? What parts do I need to remove to get to it? How much do they cost? Do I need special tools? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

BTW, I may not get a chance to read your responses this weekend (don't have internet access at home) but I'll check back on Monday. Don't want anyone to think their advice is going unread! Thanks!

Changing the plug is very easy. You just have to pull the spark plug cap off by hand. Then for that bike you will need an open end wrench or even a small crecent wrench will work. To take it out turn the spark plug counterclockwise if you were looking straight down at it. You can get new plugs that are really cheap up to really expensive. Just take the old plug to a motorcycle shop and they can set you up with the correct one. Ask them what the gap is supposed to be. Get a spark plug gapping tool at any autoparts store for really cheap. Gap the plug and put it back in opposite of taking out. Now that you have bought a bike spend the money and buy a clymer manual for that model it is worth hundreds of dollars of due it yourself over the expensive dealers. They only cost about $25. Good luck.

thw wrench should be 13/16 size, the only standard sized wrench you will ever use on a japanese model dirt bike. everything else is in metric. and pdk is right get a service manual and read the first 3 chapters on maintenance, it will save you big time in the future.

most probably its the plugs but if you just left the fuel valve open after using it, i think its just the 2T in the carb... happened to my kx85 once and everything was fine (gas, air filter, even the spark plugs).  took it to a mechanic and he just cleaned the carb.
