Anyone know of any good mx games?? I already have Mx vs ATV Unleashed and have tried mx vs atv untamed, but didn't like it as much. Also, did anyone hear of the new game coming out Sept 23 called Yamaha Supercross?

there is no such thing as a good mx game. game developers do not understand mx or sx. mx vs atv unleashed and untamed were unbelievably unrealistic. unleashed was better though.

yeah you can hit a jump going 100mph and fly for 300 feet they are pretty un realistic like elk said

ive got mx unleashed. its pretty unrealistic but if ur bored enough its pretty fun.

Rainbow Studios is the king of MX videos.  Their current series of MX vs ATV is just the evolution of their original game engine for the MX Madness games form the mid '90s.  The physics of motorcycle riding is very hard to replicate, and then you try to throw in different types of terrain, and work in bike adjustability.  Then there is all the new physics when the bike is airborne.  It is all a whole lot of math.  They could do a better job of it, but I think the general population would feel that a MX game that was too realistic would be boring and hard.  So the game developer is happy to leave in the arcadish feel of the game (like jumping 300 ft at will) to keep the game fun for everyone who does not ride a bike regularly.  

Then they found there really is not enough people out there who will buy a game just of dirt bikes.  So they have combined ATVs, buggies, monster trucks, and whatever else.  All of these vehicles have to share the same physics programs tweaked for minor changes in vehicle behaviour.  Thats why bike will spin out like a jet ski in Untamed.  But overall they are still the best out there so far.

Ya they're pretty fun. I think the best mx game ever made was the old skool excite-bike!

yea they fun but they arent good. you can not go 5th gear pinned around a supercross track. even james stewart can't do that. that is why i did not get mx vs atv untamed. i got the demo and thought unleashed was better. i will be getting other games instead like, motorstorm, prince of persia, nhl 09, maybe tomb raider, call of duty: world at war, resistance 2, killzone 2. definitely getting resistance and killzone 2 and prince of persia.

madden sucks, dont buy it. i bought it like 2 weeks ago and played it one time.

Ive got motorstorm. its pretty fun, but its really hard. i want call of duty 4. that games bad ass.
