G'day guys,
I'm planning on building myself a desert racer and eventually competing in the Baja 1000.
So my choice of bike is the legendary CR500 af, so its a alloy frame conversion and I am looking for some advice on which frame to use, where to get the modifications done and any other bits of advice on a CR500af convertion.

So what frame should I get (CR125, CR250, CRF250, CRF450), year frame (wanting atleast '06) and does anyone have any ideas on where to get someone to modify the frame?

Cheers!            CRroost

serves honda used the 250f frame, your going to need to make a frame bracket just because the motor is bigger, the pipe will not fit correctally, so maybe the cr250 2-stroke frame might be best. theres a video on youtube of a guy that has one in a 125 frame.....maybe give him an e-mail and chat with the guy who's done it first hand.....but a crf450 would be much easier in the baja.......or if i was going into it, i would get the ktm 450xcf-w/505...why, because they have electric start and are easiest to work on,
