hmm, this is also true. how do you feel about the 450's? i've only ever ridden a crf150 and a crf450, never hte 250 so i dont know how htey go. but i know the 450 really gets moving. has a shortish seat heigh and is comfortable. but like yo also said, you cant race them in the lite class. but.......... if you wanted a power upgrade this would be the one to go with. hell i'm pretty sure you can whoop most of the 250 ring dingers on your 125 right now anyway though hahah ~pat

lol. i think i may just go with the 250f. i could always sell it and get a 250T if i am getting wooped by them. EFI and steering damper and anything else honda decides to do sounds really good though.

they will be this year. hopefully, as soon as they get released we will find out. honda is very tight lipped about everything they do and they are the only manuafacturer that has not released their 09 models yet.
on the list with efi is suzuki rmz 450 and kawasaki kx 450f, still waiting for honda, word is that both the crf450r and crf250r will get it but not the crf450x and crf250x will not get it, and ktm has redesigned their frame to fit efi so next year they will probably get it. and they said yamaha may still be a couple years away from getting it.

ones i knew of that were were the rmz's and the husqvarnas, most of the huskys this year are efi. i wonder how working on a fuel injector is? easier harder then a carb?? whast hte benefits? better throttle response, better fuel efficiency? and the bike would run better when on its side wouldn't it? lol ~Pat

well you mentioned a major problem with efi. running on its side. if you lay a bike down and the thottle gets stuck there is nothing to kill it.
but yeah they said they have better throttle response and i saw somewhere that they are tunable to use less fuel when you want to save fuel.

I saw that not long ago, a fuel injected mx bike...BRILLIANT! I would say CRF250R, but the new fuel injected RM-Z's look like they could be a good option
