I agree and now your having to drain it again. I'v done that in the past, but i just keep it drained and use fuel saver in my last tank.

i have to store my bike in a non insulated shed also. what i always did was get the bike started, turn the gas valve off. and let it idle until it dies. then i put it away for winter. im sure it builds carbon, but i burn it out in the spring. ive never had any problems doing it this way.

so do not start bike in winter, gotcha, cause that is what i would have probably done. thanks.
