Do they sell Flame arresters Skip?
This is not cool. Your loading up FUEL vaper and its egnighting when you let off the pressure. My guess.

Sounds wicked!
But I'm sure that it isn't doing the engine any good.

See now if that flame thrower started a fire in the woods then EVERY dirt bike is a fire starter and thats not true. But thats what it would read in the paper!  But hey, the bike should not last long enough to be a issue un addressed, lets hope.

To clarify. I wish no bad on anyones bike.
But if your riding in the woods please address the problem. I do not run a arrestor but i also don't shoot a half a foot of flame out of my exhast.
That egnition and back pressure will start to foul your plug and run rich any way.

Not usualy as the bike would bog at high speeds. This should happen at low speed and what they THINK is mid band is prob low.
The cabon build up and leak can cause a det in the pipe. At that point the exsahst takes the hit . But the engine can as well. As the det creates a back pressure while the engine is trying to put the piston TDC with every fire through the cylnder.
The detonation will cause a back pressure that will throw that off. ( eventually)
bUT THATS JUST MY OPINION.
