I got a 1985 Suzuki Rm80 2 stroke dirtbike and would like to know the mixing ratio

32:1 would be best.  That's 4oz of oil per gallon of gas.

I also have a 1980 Suzuki Rm 80 the Clymer Manual says to mix at 20:1 but its really smoke'n could I also mix this bike at 32:1? would that do any harm to the bike?  

20:1 was a ratio picked by lawyers, not engineers.  You can (and should) run that '80 RM80 at 32:1

No. 20:1 is for break in that the dealer puts in so they are not respoucable for a lean blow up.
32 is fine unless you are just learning in the back yard and really putting the bike then 40:1 is fine.

I am using amsoil in the 1985 rm 80 is this a good oil? i have heard no so good things about this oil. can you guide me in one good oil to use in both bikes, the bikes r not used for racing, just putting around the trails
